Jon Arne is a physicist from the University of Oslo and an electronics engineer from Østfold University College. He is also a qualified European Patent Attorney. Since 2006, he has worked as a patent engineer and partner, initially at Fluges Patent, and later at Zacco Norway, where he was the technical coordinator for work within the fields of electronics/IT.

In the last three years, he also served as a committee member of the Appeals Board for Industrial Rights (KFIR).

In his patent-related work, Jon Arne is focused on the belief that understanding the client’s business and processes is fundamental to achieving strong results through the implementation of a deliberate IP strategy.
His area of expertise includes electronics, measurement technology, and electromechanical inventions, but he also works with purely mechanical inventions and inventions related to software.

Jon Arne also has extensive industry experience, having worked on the development of both hardware and software solutions for telecommunications networks for companies such as Telenor, Nera, moreCom, and Ericsson.
